A key menswear trend for SS18’s is Newstalgia, a retro themed, athleisure inspired look and there was one brand who was championing this trend with ease: Wrangler.

With Wrangler being known for its heritage retro look and feel, ‘Newstalgia’ plays right into their hands.

Wrangler displayed a captivating stand by showcasing their classic heritage blue and mustard yellow colour palette on one side and the new season red, white and blue palette adjacent to this, with their iconic branding used as a key product update across denim, t-shirts, sweats, accessories and more.

What was most exciting about Wrangler’s revival was the collaboration between Peter Max and Wrangler which made waves as the bright burst of colour drew all eyes in with original Woodstock artwork that was materialised in placement and repeat prints on garments and labelling as well. Colour-blocking, as well as panelled contrast fabrications, was a key design commonality for the quirky Spring Summer ’18 collection. The playful illustrations and colour facilitated by the collaboration make for an exciting collection to look out for in the upcoming season.
