SS18 Tradeshows: Menswear Copenhagen Highlights

Colour Confirmation: Orange

Orange continues to confirm its presence for SS18 as a must have colour seen across brands at Ciff and Revolver tradeshows. A variety of tones were beginning to be explored from neon brights in graphics to fiery orange tinted reds. If you have not planned orange in your SS18 menswear range, then this is your call to action.

Got Orange Covered? Lilacs are the New Hues for You

Soft purple and lilac tones have been slowly building a presence in menswear throughout SS17 and this movement doesn’t look like its slowing down. From frosted lilacs to Wisteria solids, these tones were used to elevate basic silhouettes worn back with indigo.

Recognise the Graphic?

A new graphic trend that was seen throughout the Copenhagen tradeshows were look-a-like graphics that had a tongue in cheek edge to them. Inspired by the famous Vetements movement, designers were having fun and putting their own spin on well known brands.

The Not So Basic Tee

The basic crew neck tee has been given a SS18 makeover in a variety of fabric textures and finishes. Fabrications included towelling, pique and lightweight canvas textures which suggests brands are reimagining their core lines in textural and tactile ways for SS18.
